Location

The nearest airport for Anandam is Madurai. Madurai is planned as an international airport and has good connections from various cities in India. The site is around 1 hours drive from airport. Another option is to come via Coimbatore, which is around 3 hours drive from the site.

The nearest railway station is Kodai road which is a 30 mins drive from the location. One can also travel to Madurai station and the site is about 1 hour and 15 min drive from the railway station.

The site is situated on the Madurai-Kodaikanal highway on the ghat road. The closest town is Vattalagundu and Kodaikanal is around 1 hours drive from the site, uphill.

The site is under construction with the first set of villa construction under progress. The property will become ready for living with limited services during early part of 2013. The golf course construction has begun, the roads and utilities work is in advanced stages and other services will start getting ready middle of 2013 onwards.

How is the weather at the location

The weather at the location is very pleasant throughout the year. The site is located in a wind tunnel where there is a constant breeze coming from the Vaigai Dam. The site is also surrounded by mountains on all sides leading to a good circulation of air.

How can I become a resident of the retirement home

The property is being developed on a sale model, where one can buy a unit in their own name or children’s name with a restriction that the residents will have to be 55+ years of age. After this one can pay for services on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis.
